Cuando descubrí a Delia Derbyshire una de las piezas que más me impactó y cambió mi vida fue la serie radiofónica que realizó junto a Barry Bermange en 1964 titulada “The Dreams” un programa de radio con voces de gente describiendo sus sueños.
Me gusta marcar libros y me gusta más encontrar libros que estén marcados, ayer encontré un excelente libro del hombre del tiempo, Henri Bergson. Se dice que inspiró a fotógrafos, pintores, escritores, coreógrafos y videógrafos de todos los tiempos.
“La esencia del tiempo es que pasa” decía Bergson.
Cualquier marca está asociada a un tiempo en específico, el instante en el que se realiza esa marca. Este libro tiene diversas marcas y fechas, entre ellas la del 6 de junio de 1914 realizada por la biblioteca Philosophalplural, otra más del 16 de Marzo de 1962 por Bought y (Dansmi), otra del 20 de enero de 1994, otra del 22 de enero de 1994 y otra más del 15 de enero de 2002.
Pero contiene otras marcas igual de interesantes:
“Dormir es un estado de desinterés”
“Pero son, sobre todo, visuales, y más visuales de los que nosotros pensamos”
“Nosotros vivimos dentro de nosotros mismos. Pero los sueños nos hacen retirar fuera de nosotros mismos”

En un tiempo pasado (cualquiera de las fechas mencionadas anteriormente) alguien leyó este libro y lo marcó para recordar. Sólo dejó sus marcas, como deja cualquier sueño.

I like to label books and I like books that are checked, yesterday I found an excellent book of man’s time, Henri Bergson. It is said to have inspired photographers, painters, writers, choreographers and videographers of all time.

But it contains other brands just as interesting:
“Sleep is a state of disinterest”
“But above all, visual, and more visual than we thought”
“We live within ourselves. But dreams do we withdraw out of ourselves “
“This is only memories and memories that weave the fabric of our dreams”

“The abolition of the sense of duration”
In a past time (any of the dates mentioned above) someone read this book and marked to remember. Only left its mark, as he makes any dream.
