Peter Whitehead figura legendaria en los círculos de la contracultura londinense de los años ’60, Whitehead hizo la primera película de los Rolling Stones en 1965, rodó a Allen Ginsberg en el Royal Albert Hall, en 1966 fue la primera persona en publicar un guión de Jean-Luc Godard en Inglés, estubo dentro de los edificios ocupados de la Universidad de Columbia con una cámara en 1968,filmó promociones y conciertos con algunas de las figuras musicales más importantes de la década, incluyendo Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix y Led Zeppelin. Autor de varias novelas, alfarero y por muchos años tuvo el santuario privado de cría de halcones más grande del mundo.
Estas conversaciones se encuentran divididas en dos partes, sin embargo hemos alterado su orden porque lo encontramos más interesante de esta manera.
