We asume horror as we asume the universe and it’s notion: it is there, huge; it happens and it happens to us with the indifference of the inevitable. We like to think we are incapable of it; by doing so, we start its engines with a reverence, ironically, we should be horrified of.

Asumimos el horror como asumimos la noción del universo: está, aparatoso; ocurre y nos ocurre con esa parsimonia de lo que sabemos inevitable. Nos gusta pensarnos incapaces de él; al hacerlo, ponemos a andar su maquinaria con una reverencia que, llena de ironía, debería horrorizarnos.
